What's in it for you?

Certainly, you have the option to independently list your RV on well-known rental platforms. You can manage all the cleaning between rentals, perhaps after a full day's work or during your weekends if time permits. Communication with renters, updating calendars, and dedicating time to meet them before their trip, providing thorough training on the operation of your RV to ensure its proper care, are all tasks you can handle. Additionally, you'll be responsible for promptly addressing inquiries and resolving any potential issues that arise during the rental period.

How our Consignment Rental Program works

The process is straightforward, particularly for RV owners. The primary involvement entails preparing your RV for its inaugural rental. This entails removing personal belongings you prefer not to be utilized by others, and then furnishing the RV with essential items for renters, such as bedding, towels, dishes, and utensils.

Following this initial preparation, all the owner needs to do is inform us of the dates they'll be using their RV, allowing us to remove it from the rental calendar. From there, Campfire Adventures takes care of everything else.

We handle:

  • Marketing your RV to maximize bookings

  • Managing all rentals and renters, along with associated processes

  • Preparing and cleaning the RV and its contents after each rental

  • Conducting necessary maintenance and minor repairs

Once a month, owners receive 50% of the net income generated by their RV from nightly bookings. Full details are provided in the RV rental consignment contract for your thorough review.

Who is the Consignment Rental Program for?

Our consignment rental program caters to individuals who fit any of the following criteria:

  • A. Current RV owners seeking to offset expenses or even generate profit from an idle RV.

  • B. Individuals interested in investing in a local small business while concurrently acquiring property that offers personal utility.

  • C. Prospective RV buyers aiming to supplement income to alleviate some of the financial burden associated with payments.

However, this program may not be suitable for those who view their RV as a cherished possession or a point of personal pride. Renting out your RV presents an opportunity for earning income and potentially enjoying certain tax benefits (consultation with a tax professional is recommended for specifics). Given the increased usage inherent in rental scenarios, wear and tear may occur more rapidly, alongside minor damages that may accrue during its rental tenure. Adopting an opportunistic mindset is crucial for success in this venture.

RV requirements to join our fleet

  1. RV needs to be less than 10 years old.

  2. RV needs to be SOLID. No leaks, water damage, soft ceilings, soft floors or any other soft spots.

  3. RV MUST be in good working order, all items functional: fridge, stove, air conditioners, furnace, doors and cabinets, all electrical, plumbing, and mechanical items.

  4. RV needs to have a leak test done BEFORE the start of the season.
